Labour Day Tournament
• Each team must register by Friday September 4th registration cost is $80 per team and must be paid with registration
• Teams must have at least one adult over 39, one young guns age player (between 10 and 16) , teams can register with up to 5 players but must have the required players in each game
• Games will be 3 players from each team
• Paintballs must be purchased on the day of the event and will be $25 per bag of 500 only these paintballs can be used at the event
• Games start at 9:30 teams must be signed in by 8:45
• Each team is guaranteed 6 games (2 bush ball, 2 western town, 2 in the forest)
• There will be prizes for first second and third place finishes
• We will stop for lunch at noon there will be burgers or pizza for sale and corn on the cob
• Additional prizes will be awarded throughout the day

To all families. We have a had several requests for a father son tournament. So if you would like to see a tournament held on Labour day Monday. Please respond by email.
Here is what we are thinking.
• 9:30 am start end by 3 pm
• 3 player teams
• Minimum of one adult per team
• Minimum of one young guns age player per team
• Play 2 games on each field (bush, speed ball, western town, presidents trail, shooting gallery)
• Prizes
• Draws
• Corn and hamburgers at lunch
• Fundraiser for big brothers, big sisters, or scouts or girl guides. Details can be worked out later.
This would not be limited to just families, if you would like to play you can help by joining a family who is short players. Or teams could roster 4 players to have a spare, that way moms and grandparents could join for a game or two or three.
We would need some help organizing the event so if you would like to help please let us know.

In an effort to kick start our Mission Mondays series. Back Country Paintball is looking for 4 or 6 teams of 4 players to sign up for our first ever Mission Monday to be held on Monday August 3rd.
The format will be recreation ball, played on our bush field and outback field. There will be team challenges with objectives to reach. Each team will have at least 4 games.
There will be prizes for winning teams, and a lunch supplied.
This event will work great for family teams (father, mother and sons, daughters, nephews etc.)
This first time we will experiment with a variety of games to see what works best and is sure to be a lot of fun.
The cost will be $40 per team for members and $80 per team for non-members. Paintballs will be at $20 per bag of 500 for members and $30 per bag of 500 for non-members.
We will start at 10 am and be done by 2 pm
So call your friends and family and get a team together.

The Americans are coming.
The All-Americans Professional Paintball team in combination with Back Country Paintball and the Muskoka Mercenaries are hosting a paintball clinic to train budding paintball players. “It is very exciting for us, Paintball is the fastest growing action sport in North America and we will have two of the best players in the world here to show us how to improve our game” says Tony Armstrong owner of Back Country Paintball The two players Jason Edwards and Stephen Dabilis are traveling to Muskoka for the July 25 and 26 clinic.

Jason Edwards has been playing professional paintball since 2005. He has played on teams such as Jacksonville Raiders, Miami Rage, DC Arsenal, and Miami Effect before playing with the Philadelphia Americans. He is a proven and veteran backline player that is known for his clutch play and quick inserts.

Stephen “Son” Dabilis has been playing professional paintball since 2003. He has played on a wide array of teams including DC Arsenal, Oakland Assassins, St. Louis Avalanche and the New England Hurricanes. He has been touted for his stellar play on the Dorito side, however possesses the abilities to play anywhere the team needs him.

The Philadelphia Americans are one of the longest standing pro teams, having competed at the highest level of paintball for almost 20 years. The team is currently ranked number one in the world after a first place finish in Phoenix, a second place finish in Charlotte and a third place finish in Chicago.

Paintballers interested in learning form the best players in the sport are encouraged to attend. For more info contact Back Country Paintball at 645-9352.

Hello everyone
There are some neat things happening at Back Country paintball. Here a list of a few of them.
• Last Thursday was a great success at Young Gunz, we had nearly 20 players out with some of the Mercenaries showing their stuff, everyone played on the bush field then the western town and some played speedball with some coaching from the Muskoka Mercenaries. We are looking forward to a good night again this week. Don’t forget Thursday after school Bring your gear and have some fun. I have included a poster for you to show your friends and bring them along too.
• Back Country Paintball is expanding!! We are partnering with Base Camp wake Board School at prides of Rosseau to have a new field in Minnett. We are under construction there and should be ready to play in two weeks it will be a great new spot to try for all of the players in Bala, Port Carling and Minnett
• And check out our new web site. Last night we launched our new web site it is really cool please check it out and let us know your thoughts.
Up coming events
• Fathers day special- any father that plays on Fathers Day will get free entry and a gift. Some bring out your Dad and Join the fun
• MISSION MONDAYS start on June 29th- these days will be held on the Mondays of long weekends through the 2009 season and will be held in the outback there will be objectives and challenges watch for more details on the web site or in my emails and get you r group ready to be part of the mission
• The ALL AMERICAN clinic – this your chance to hang out with three of the highest Ranked pros in the game Tim Montressor, Jason Trosen, Jason Edward. All the way from Pennsylvania. Learn from the best. Check out the poster and reserve your spot there is about 15 spots left.

The cool weather is great for paintball wear extra clothes and come on out to join your friends

2009 group Packages
Important points
Field paint only - this means that only paintballs purchased at Back Country Paintball may be used on our fields. This adds a level of safety and control to our games.

Minimum group size is 6 players - This is to make sure that your visit is fun and challenging. Through the year we will host special days where players can come by themselves and join into a bigger game.

Regular Entry
$20 per player includes;
Rental marker
One set of goggles
unlimited HPA or CO2

Additional paintballs costs; $35 per bag of 500, $10 per bag of 100

With a group of 25 people or more, (excluding special events) the group gets one free case of 2000 paintballs and the group organizer gets a free t-shirt
Group bookings of 10 or more MUST be reserved with a $100 non refundable deposit

Birthday party packages (minimum of 6 players) include;
Birthday person plays for FREE
$20 per player includes;

BONUS: One free large pizza per 10 players

All players must be a minimum of 10 (ten) years of age to play at Back Country Paintball
